Clean Water : El Salvador

Objective:

To partner with communities in coastal El Salvador to create sustainable solutions to the household water crisis. 

Coastal communities in El Salvador are currently struggling to find access to clean drinking water. Many wells were built in close proximity to latrine sites and are since contaminated. Other wells have been flooded with ocean water, creating water that is no longer potable. 

This project is in its infancy as Latitude further investigates the situation and works with communities to find sustainable and culturally acceptable water filtration solutions.
